The Searun Salinity #5 rod is simply one of the best saltwater seatrout fishing rods on the market today. The rod has all the qualities I have been looking for in years. The rod is fast and has a fast recovery and high sensitivity. I can make long casts relative easily - even in windy conditions. The rod is light and equipped with very high quality cork and fittings. The rod is truly a pleasure to use for hours without fatigue. I have been fishing with Sage premium fly rods for many years and in my opinion is the Searun Salinity serie a very strong contender. I'd been thinking a while about getting a 5wt for the coastal fishing. Today, I can only say it was the best decision! The rod felt great from day one in combination with the Advance SH, perfectly balanced setup.
Having heard a lot about the rods geared towards danish coastal fly fishing, I couldn’t resist buying the 4wt paired with the ULT shooting head. Man does that shoot out there. I tried pushing the rod with too much line out, but I can’t make it crumble like other rods do. That is a huge plus for me. The low swing weight resolves in hours of fishing with no shoulder ache at all. I highly recommend buying a rod from Searun Fly Fish and supporting further R&D in danish rod making. Tight Lines

Jeg købte Troels stang her i slut efteråret i en # 4, da jeg købte stange. Havde jeg ikke det helt store forventninger. Andet end at jeg synes designet var mega fedt, og jeg havde læst/hørt gode ting om den. Men jeg må indrømme jeg er blæst helt bagover, den har sendt min Helios stang på pension, og selvom det en klasse 4 stang top præstere den selv på dage med hård vind, den kaster bare som en drøm og er urolig nem at fiske med, selv små undermåler er sjove at fange på stangen da stang spidsen er utrolig blød men samtidig har den super rygrad i bunden som bare gør du ikke går ned på længen af dine kast . Jeg vil gerne ligge hovedet på blokken og sige at hvis du overvejer en ny stang, så kunne det her godt være den du skal købe.
