Revolutionary design

I was close to giving up coastal flyfishing because I thought I couldn't cast without making a mess of the line. It turned out it wasn't me. It was the lousy designs I had tried. This SH revolutionized my fishing. No less

Impressed

I have been testing the new Searun Advance shooting head series, and I must say that I am quite impressed. I was skeptical at first, as I have struggled to find a shooting head with the perfect taper to cast a variety of fly sizes. Typically, shooting heads for seatrout fishing are designed to cast big flies or a two-fly setup, resulting in a powerful turnover that is not ideal for presenting smaller flies. However, the Advance series features a well-designed back taper that smoothly transfers the energy into a short front taper. This design makes these heads very stable in the air and allows for delicate presentation of a Gammarus fly while still being able to chuck a big shrimp fly into the wind. Other advantages of this taper include easy distance and great turnover when casting into a headwind. The Searun Flyfish team did an astonishing job with these heads!

Where should one start?

To sum it up briefly, I've had; Cortland, SA, Rio and Arctic silver.
And to cut a long story short, I've found something that just works. I cast both better and further with Searun than I have with other lines (even those costing over 900 kr). Yes, I had to get used to monoline (those 20 minutes went by quickly).

I use
Axiom 2x class 8
Scott wave class 6
And it works 100%👍🤘
